LASER TECHNOLOGY FOR REMOVING POLYIMIDE
COATING FROM QUARTZ CAPILLARIES

"Nauchnoe priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 3—19

The article presents the results of a laser method for removing a protective polyimide coating from quartz capillaries in comparison with a thermal method using a gas burner. It has been shown that the use of pulsed ultraviolet laser radiation allows the removal of the protective polyimide coating without the need for additional mechanical processing of the capillaries, heating, the risk of deformation and defectation of the capillaries. Laser technology for removing polyimide coating from quartz capillary allows for high reproducibility of the technological process and is promising for commercial production of capillary arrays.

CORRECTION OF FLUORESCENT SIGNALS DISTORTED BY OVERLAPPING SPECTRAL
BANDS IN THE "NANOFOR SPS" SEQUENCER

"Nauchnoe priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 20—35

An important stage in the technology of massively parallel sequencing of nucleic acids is the process of measuring fluorescence signals. The spectral composition of the fluorescence signal carries information about the type of the fluorescence object (nucleotide) included in the DNA sample analyzed by the sequencer. The more nucleotides are correctly recognized during the reading process, the more accurate the result of reading the entire genome will be. The phenomenon of overlapping spectral components of the fluorescence signals of nucleotides A, C, G and T (cross-talk) is one of the negative factors that prevents reliable reading of the genome.
To combat this phenomenon, a color correction algorithm is needed. This algorithm is decisive in determining the type of nucleotide located in these coordinates (cluster) in a given reading cycle. The paper considers a color correction algorithm that allows one to determine a crosstalk matrix using the linear regression method. Based on this matrix, an inverse matrix is determined, the use of which allows one to significantly reduce the influence of spectral band overlap on the accuracy of fluorescence signal measurement evaluation. The algorithm has been tested on experimental data and has shown high reliability of the results.

PARAMETRIC RADIATION ANTENNA
FOR HYDROACOUSTIC MONITORING OF THE WATER
BODY SURFACE: ANALYSIS OF APPLICATION POSSIBILITIES
IN WAVE MEASURING EQUIPMENT (REVIEW)

"Nauchnoe priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 36—56

The article considers the use of a parametric radiating antenna (PRA) as a source of a low-frequency ultrasonic signal with tunable characteristics for wave measuring equipment used for hydroacoustic monitoring of the water surface of a coastal area, for example, in remote assessment of the degree of waves when measuring hydroconditions. The results of model experiments on studying the patterns of ultrasonic field scattering during underwater irradiation of both smooth and wind-disturbed water—air interfaces are discussed. The data analysis allowed us to refine the PRA model as a tool for echo detection of objects in shallow water near the acoustically soft water—air interface, employing the imaginary source method. An informative feature is proposed and the basics of the method for measuring the parameters of a rough sea surface using nonlinear acoustics effects are discussed, for example, for the mode of broadband irradiation with ultrasonic signals from the bottom.

EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF INTERFERENCE SETUP USING WHITE
LIGHT SOURCE FOR SURFACE MICRORELIEF MONITORING

"Nauchnoe priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 57—66

The study highlights the problem of metrology of non-smooth surfaces and the identification of the technical characteristics of the developed interferometric installation, where a white light diode was used as a radiation source. Obtaining high-precision information about the geometry of an optical or non-smooth surface is a significant problem for metrological support, and interference devices and complexes using light sources that block the laser mode are able to provide the researcher with such information. The metrological parameters of the experimental setup are investigated: the range, measurement error, and amplitude of the interference signal. The experimental results obtained are presented in the form of technical specifications.

ARCHITECTURE OF THE POWER SUPPLY SYSTEM
FOR SPACE EXPERIMENTAL COMPLEXES BASED
ON LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES

"Nauchnoe priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 67—77

The architecture of building a highly reliable power supply system based on lithium-ion batteries, designed for conducting scientific experiments on spacecraft board, is considered. The proposed approach is based on many years of experience in creating experimental scientific equipment complexes and makes it possible to overcome a number of fundamental disadvantages of lithium-ion batteries, opening up the possibility of using their undeniable advantages during the creation of new promising instrument complexes for various purposes in Earth orbit. Particular attention is paid to considering issues specific to the application area, such as the initial power-up of the complex, its ground testing, and ensuring reliable operation.

ALGORITHM FOR CALCULATING THE POSITION
AND SPEED OF OBJECTS ON A PLANE USING DATA
FROM A MONOCULAR CAMERA

"Nauchnoe Priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 78—96

This article presents an algorithm for the automatic calculation of a homography matrix, intended for estimating the speed of forklifts in warehouse conditions. The proposed algorithm uses video streams from surveillance cameras to transform object coordinates from a perspective image into a metric space, enabling the determination of forklift positions in real measurement units. The algorithm implements automatic calibration based on the recognition of pallets with known dimensions and the use of camera characteristics. An automatic parameter selection algorithm is proposed for the monocular system in cases where these parameters are not known in advance. An experiment using real video recordings demonstrates the applicability of the proposed algorithm for monitoring logistics processes and improving the efficiency of warehouse transport management. The experiment showed that when calculating average forklift speed, 98% of the obtained values fall within an error margin of ±1 km/h.

REGARDING THE PROBLEM OF SOLVING THE POISSON—BOLZMANN
EQUATION WHEN THE DEBYE—HUCKEL APPROXIMATION CONDITIONS
IN ELECTROKINETIC PROCESSES ARE NOT MET

"Nauchnoe Priborostroenie", 2025, vol. 35, no. 2, pp. 97—104

The paper presents a set of mathematical models used in the numerical modeling of electrokinetic problems, namely, mathematical models for calculating electrokinetic processes during the study of the motion of an incompressible viscous fluid in a circular capillary. The corresponding hydrodynamic equations are given. The Debye—Huckel approximation in electroosmotic processes is considered when solving the Poisson—Boltzmann equation, and methods for solving it in cases where the Debye—Huckel approximation is invalid are given. This allows us to significantly expand the range of zeta potential values at which the Poisson-Boltzmann equation can be solved.

Keywords: electroosmosis, viscous incompressible fluid, Navier—Stokes equations system, Debye—Huckel approximation, solution of Poisson—Boltzmann equation in case of invalidity of Debye—Huckel approximation
