ANK-16 AND ANK-32 DEVICES FOR ANALYSIS OF DNA AND RNA BASED ON REAL-TIME PCR

Function

The devices are designed for detection and quantitative determination of specific DNA (RNA) in the tested samples in a wide dynamic range up to 109 copies.

The devices come in two versions: ANK-16 and ANK-32 for analysis of 16 and 32 samples, respec-tively. They are suitable both for research and routine analyses.

The ANK device consists of a thermal unit, optical unit, and software.

The thermal unit provides an exponential increase of the PCR product (amplicon) amount in the pres-ence of the target DNA (RNA) in the sample.

The optical unit measures the sample fluorescence signal proportional to the amplicon amount in the reaction mixture. Five independent reactions in a given sample can be simultaneously observed due to fivecolor measurement of the fluorescence signal.

The device software supports setting and control of PCR and fluorescence measurement conditions as well as PCR data processing and output in a specified form.

:      High accuracy and fine precision of measurement results. The spread in values of threshold cycles for 32 equal samples amounts to 0.11  :      Possibility of identifying small differences in amounts of original DNA (in this case the amount of DNA in samples is 5 and 10 thousand copies)
