The possibility of general estimation of the composition of natural water with the use of anodic stripping voltammetry (SVA) is discussed. On the base of generalized data it is shown that some electrochemical parameters should be sensitive to electrochemically inactive substances. The results of the examination of some parameters are presented. The qualitative correlation of the results obtained by the SVA-method with the acidic titration data was established, but the SVA-method is more informative.
