ON SOME PROBLEMS OF DESIGN OF NON-INIFORM GRIDS TO CALCULATE CHARGED PARTICLE PATHS IN ELECTRON- AND ION-OPTICAL INSTRUMENTS

The reasons of accuracy losses in the calculations of charged particle path in electron and ion-optical instruments are considered. Algorithms for the non-uniform grid design are given, that take into account those reasons and reduce their contribution to the trajectory calculation error.
