The Supplement ¹ 1 to J. Nauchnoe Priborostroenie V. 7, ¹ 1–2 contains the proceeding of interdisciplinary workshops "Philosophical Problems of Current Biophysics" held 12–13 May, 1998 and "The Living Planet" held 24-25 November, 1998. Both were organized according to the decision of the 1st International Congress on Weak and Hyperweak Fields and Radiation in Biology and Medicine held 16-19 June, 1997. The main purpose of the Congress was systematization and informational support of knowledge and research on the effect of physical fields and radiations on biological objects and related methodological, ecological, medical and instrumental aspects. The paper abstracts published in the Supplement ¹ 1 have been selected by the Programme Committees of the above mentioned workshops without participation of the Editorial Board of J. Nauchnoe Priborostroenie and have not been reviewed as generally required for this journal. So the Editorial Board does not bear any responsibility for the reliability and scientific level of the material presented in the abstracts.
