ON THE PERIODIC STATIONARY SOLUTIONS OF A LATTICE MODEL FOR ADSORBED MONOLAYER

A kinetic lattice gas model for the adsorbed monolayer within the frame of mean field approximation for lateral interactions is studied. A non-linear second order equation of "diffusion+reactions" type describing surface phase transition is obtaind. The existance of periodic stationary density distributions is hown. In the case of quasi one-dimensional diffusion an explicit form of periodic stationary solutions is found.
