GENERALIZED DISCRETE REPRESENTATION OF ANALOG DATA FROM ANALYTICAL INSTRUMENTS

A time quantization method is descussed for representation of analytical instrument outputs in the form ot generalized samples being essentially Fouruer coefficients in the basis of time-biased finite functions. An expression for the interpolating operator kernel is found, which under certain conditions is reduced to the ideal Kotelnikov-Shennon interpolator. It is shoun that, unlike convertional time quantization, the sigual representation based on generalized samples allows one to obtain the current values of its derivatives and entegral.
