IMPROVING NOISE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE SINGLE-BEAM OPTICAL SPECTROPHOTOMETER BY AUTOSTABILIZATION OF THE PHOTORECEIVER GAIN

A new optoelectronic automatic gain control circuit of a photoreceiver with any photosensitive element is proposed. The circuit operates on the principle of regular gain correction by a referece light signal. Unlike with the known automatic gain control methods, the secondary stage gain is corrected so that the analog photoreceiver output corresponding to the radiation intensity in the optical path of the spectrometer is equal to the analog reference signal.
