The paper describes a 5.44 MHz proton
resonance mini-MNR tomograph recording images of objects with linear dimensions
of about 20 mm. The tomograph allows real-time acquisition of NMR signals,
control of electromagnetic noise effects on the image quality, and also tomogram
accumulation to achieve an acceptable image contrast for the layer studied.
The linear resolution of the tomograph reached in a 4 min period is about
0.3 mm. The application of the tomograph is demonstrated by recording tomograms
from a sequence of echo signals for an object containing areas with different
spin-spin relaxation times.
