    The theory and practice of wavelet transform based experimental data processing are considered. The multiscale analysis is treated here as broadening band signal spectral analysis. Filter banks implementing fast computational algorithms are constructed, and a class of non-stationary wavelets obtained by modification of known orthonormal wavelets by the instrument apparatus function is studied.
