The design features of the infection system
are analyzed and experimental measurements are performed to define its parameters
and energy characteristics of low-energy electron beams obtained for the
electron capture dissociation in Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance
mass spectrometry. Different low-energy electron injection systems are compared.
