  The paper presents hardware and software for the automated data acquisition system of a mobile chromatograph – mass spectrometer, which performs chromatographic and mass spectral data collection, processing and display for both research and industrial applications. The data acquisition system comprises an analog-to-digital converter with a microprocessor, digital-to-analog converters, digital input-output devices. The algorithms and programs for mass spectral measurements are based on the authors original methods and algorithms for mass spectral peak detection and chromato - mass spectrum identification.
