A laser interference refractometer
intended for certification of gas mixtures in a wide concentration measurement
range is described. An analytical treatment of the concentration
measurement error components is given, and the limits of errors are determined
for fourteen most commonly used binary gas mixtures. Requirements on the
errors in verifying the laser refractometer are stated.
