Based on the analysis of design
principles of multicomponent measuring devices, the advantages of application
of accelerometers with a full magnetic suspension as a single-mass sensing
element in aerospace instrumentation are justified. The design of a precision
six-component accelerometer is described. The mathematical model of a virtual
accelerometer generating all vector coordinates of linear and angular acceleration
and velocity is discussed.
