    Optimal technical solutions for development of a spectrophotometric detector are discussed. A technique for measuring absolute optical density in small diameter circular capillaries is offered. To this end, a notion of light beam filling factors is introduced and formulas for correction of experimental results are given. The calculations and recommendations for estimation of these ratios from the experimental data for various adjustments of the optical system are presented.
