This paper
presents a theoretical approach extending the capabilities of automatic
systems for control of acoustic signal parameters. These techniques are
based on the joint time-frequency representation of signals. A fast algorithm
for calculating the values of time-frequency energy density functions is
suggested. The results of theoretical and experimental studies are given.
