Two variants of arrangements for ion irradiation of a slightly deformed film have been suggested. They provide a quasi-uniform distribution of the track directions in the ~ 1 str range. The arrangements can be used for manufacture of track membranes of the third generation permitting a multifold increase in the productivity of track membranes without deterioration of  their  selectivity.
