APPLICATION OF ION DETECTORS WITH A WIDE DYNAMIC RANGE IN MASS-SPECTROMETERS

    The operating principles, performance and examples of application of a hybrid electron multiplier and an electron-optical array detector are considered. A technique of isotope analysis of actinides in ultra-small samples by thermal ionization mass spectrometry is presented and some analytical results are shown.
