THE METHODS REVIEW OF PRACTICAL APPLICATION FOR ACTIVE MAGNETIC BEARINGS

The methods of practical application for active magnetic bearings (ÀÌP) in various industrial fields are under consideration. The advisability of AMP using instead of the conventional bearing units in such industry sections as aviation, power engineering, high-speed machinery, medical equipment, machine tool industry, gas transmission sector is justified. A comparison of technical characteristics of the three types of bearing units (AMP, rolling bearings, bushed bearings) is shown.

HIGH-POWER LASER DIODES WITH EMISSION WAVE LENGTH OF 808 nm. II. NON-THERMAL MECHANISMS FOR LIMITING OF RADIATED POWER

In the course of work [1] in this article the review of the non-thermal mechanisms limiting the output radiated power of laser diodes is presented. These mechanisms are separated into two groups: one group covers those related to the carriers’ accumulation in the waveguide layers of laser structure at the currents exceeding the threshold value. another group consolidates the mechanisms related to non-equilibrium distribution of electrons and holes in the active area of laser, caused by the significant shortening of carriers life times due to stimulated emission. The competition of thermal and non-thermal mechanisms of the optical power limitation is considered for the pulsed and continuous-wave injection pumping.

FEASIBILITY AND PRACTICAL SUPPLEMENT OF SOLUTION METHODS FOR MATHEMATICALLY INCORRECT INVERSE PROBLEM OF ELLIPSOMETRY.
1. TOWARDS AN UNDERSTANDING OF BREWSTER ANGLE FOR SOLUTION OF INVERSE PROBLEM. GENERAL PROPERTIES AND COMPLEX SELECTION OF THE ANGLES OF INCIDENCE OF LIGHT BEAM

In this work the impact analysis of kits for the angles of incidence of mathematically incorrect inverse problem of ellipsometry. It’s shown that the existence only one kit of the angles of incidence, on which the correct passage to the limit towards the ideal situation is realized, and the noticeable scatter of optimal values d opt and n opt of the film parameters in accordance with the angular complexes of some multitude of these complexes isn’t the factor limiting the method’s possibilities. Besides, the similar general properties of angular complexes lead to the additional possibilities of solution method for the mathematically incorrect inverse problem. The role of Brewster angle in formation used complexes of the angles of incidence for solution of the inverse problem also is considered.

THE TARGET SURFACE TREATMENT OF MATERIALS FOR MICROFLUIDIC CHIPS

The glassworks of the K8 trademark, polymethylmethacrylate and polycarbonate are referred to the most widespread materials used for manufacturing of microfluidic chips. The results of the properties research of wetting action for untreated and treated surfaces of these materials by the sessile drop method are given. The influence of chemical treatment (by alkaline solutions, sodium hypochlorite and methacryloxypropyl-(trimethoxy)-silane) and plasma treatment under argon environment on the surface wetting abilities are discussed. The results of measurement for the relief surfaces of materials by the methods of the atomic force microscopy before and after treatment are considered.

SYNTHESIS OF CONSECUTIVE DIISOCYANATE AND SULFONATED POLYSTYRENE LAYERS ON SILICA GLASS SURFACE FOR THE PRODUCTION OF FUSED SILICA CAPILLARY COLUMNS

The depositing of oligomeric diisocyanate layer on the surface of silica glass allowed to carry out the subsequent grafting of a polymer coating based on polystyrol and polystyrol-sulfonic acid mixture. The synthesized coatings are continuous, uniform and possess a good adhesion to the substrate. The obtained results allowed to determinate the optimal conditions for formation on the silica glass of the stationary phase with physicochemical and geometric parameters required for manufacturing of fragmented capillary columns, concentration and analysis the manufacture of segmented capillary columns for electro-migratory methods of dividing, concentrating and analysis of the various multicomponent systems.

REGULAR MULTIMOLECULAR SORBENTS (RMMS). THE OBTAINING AND THE STUDY OF SURFACE AND SORPTION PROPERTIES

The work deals with the synthesis of regular multimolecular structures based on iron stearates and determination of their sorption capacity in relation to the peptide SSNGHVYðGKLSSI by the method of high performance liquid chromatography. It was shown that the obtained structures have a high sorption capacity and can be used as sorbents for metal-affine chromatography as applied to biological objects.

E. COLI BACTERIA FIXING ON A SUBSTRATE FOR MEASUREMENTS IN LIQUID BY THE METHOD OF ATOMIC-FORCE MICROSCOPY

For biological objects fixation in a liquid proposed to use gelling agents (gelatin and agar-agar). The studies on selection of the most appropriate mass fraction of gelatin and agar-agar in an initial solution for fixation E.Coli bacteria in the liquid media and studies of the results of fixation by method of confocal laser scanning microscopy were done. The image data of E.Coli bacterium in native state, fixated on agar-agar films in a liquid were received by method of atomic-force microscopy.

AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF THE STRUCTURES OF FERRITIC-PEARLITIC STEELS ON THE IMAGES, OBTAINED BY THE METHOD OF ATOMIC-FORCE MICROSCOPY

The problem of automatic recognition of the structures of samples images of ferritic-pearlitic steels, obtained by the method of atomic force microscopy, is considered. For its solution the algorithm, which includes image pre-processing, segmentation, calculation of the image parameters and the definition according to the received parameters of the most probable state of the tested steel sample by means of the supporting vectors method, is proposed. The possibility of accuracy increasing of classification by means of determining of the optimal set of the images parameters is considered. The algorithm, described in this article, is realized in the form of software module. The examples of the experimental data processing are given.

TWO-COMPONENT QUANTITATIVE PCR ANALYSIS

The methodical peculiarities were considered and a method of modeling of two-component PCR analysis was proposed. A comparison of three ways of threshold cycle determination at two-component PCR analyses was performed. The dependencies of measurement errors on account of the threshold cycles difference of measuring and neighboring channels were determined. The advantage of two-component signal approximation offered by us in earlier improved model on the base of sigmoid function with 6 parameters is shown.

In this paper the principal possibility of realization of the real-time polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) in microfluidic device was demonstrated. The rapid evaluation of the carried out PCR quality is an relevant objective. The possibility of this task solution by the electrophoresis of PCR products in microfluidic chip was represented. As the object of studying the cDNA of tumor marker cytokeratin-19 (CK-19) was selected. The methods of data treatment for informative electrophoretic signals were proposed and the conclusions regarding the quality of the PCR and the peculiarities of electrophoresis carrying out in microfluidic chip were made. The results of our researches can be used for the solution some perspective tasks, which also discussed in this paper.

OPTIMAL ORGANIZING OF ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING ON THE BASIS OF UAV GROUP

The results of information optimization of laser channel communication between elements of UAV group carrying out cooperative remote sensing have shown that in the optimal mode the increase of wavelength of the optical signal used for communication leads inevitably to decreasing of the attainable distance between two UAV. The results of research of dependence of allowable area of payload designated for apparatus arrangement of remote sensing have shown that increasing of wavelength leads inevitably to decreasing of the mentioned area.
