DEPENDENCE OF DISCRIMINATION ON MASSES IN THE QUADRUPOLE MASS-ANALYZER WITH PREFILTERS ON ION INITIAL ENERGY

Experimentally the relation of peak intensities in perfofluorine tributylamine mass spectrum within the range of mass numbers 31–502 a.e.m. obtained in a work with a small quadrupole mass-analyzer with prefilters for ion initial energies 2.5, 3.2, 4.6 and 6 eV was determined. Discrimination on heavy masses was shown to decrease with the increase of ion energy input in a mass-analyzer. In particular, the relation of ion peak intensity with a mass number 502 a.e.m. to intensity ion peak with a mass number 69 a.e.m. increases 5.6 times with the increase of ion initial energy from 2.5 to 6 eV. Decrease of resolving capacity on mass 502 a.e.m. from R01 = 590 to R01 = 375 and increase of absolute intensity of the ion peak with a mass number 502 a.e.m. was observed.

COMBINED MASS AND ELECTRON SPECTROMETERS FOR THE STUDY OF SOLIDS

The determinations of the mass spectrum, the charge and energy spectra of heavy particles and electrons emitted by solids when they are acted upon by particle and laser beams are effective method in studying physicochemical properties of solids. The paper considers the possibility of developing combined high energy resolution electron and mass spectrometers for research into solids. The spectrometers must have a relative high energy resolution. The device consists of a particle (ions and electrons) source converting particle energy spectrum into the mass spectrum, and energy analyzer with two-dimensional electrostatic field and plane of symmetry. The sources of beams exciting the surface of the sample under study are independent and not considered in the paper. The mathematical simulation of the device performance confirms the realizability of the method suggested

ALLOCATION OF INFORMATION ATTRIBUTES IN THE MASS SPECTROMETRIC SIGNALS OF AIR

The paper deals with a new method of isolating informational attributes from the processed signals, the generalized spectral analysis in the adapted basis. The studies of the functional structure of mathematical foundations and adaptable classification system of different signal types, including the quadrupole mass spectra of air, were carried out. The algorithms for synthesis of basic functions adapted to process signals of orthogonal transforms were developed. Mass spectra which was obtained by a quadrupole mass spectrometer processing, obtained on quadrupole mass spectrometer, for the analysis of air purity was used as an example.

MODELLING OF A MICRO-XRF SPECTROMETER, ESTIMATION OF THE ANALYTICAL AND METROLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS

Using physical and mathematical models of the X-ray fluorescence a modelling of the micro-XRF spectrometer is carried out for optimization of the micro-XRF scheme. All the results of theoretical and experimental studies confirm the consistency of the analysis performed and allow to estimate the analytical characteristics of the micro-XRF spectrometer.

BIPOLAR PROJECTIVITY OF GAUSSIAN POINTS IN OPTICAL SYSTEMS WITH CURVILINEAR AXIS

Specific off-axis geometrical points of optical systems with curvilinear optic axis and a new fundamental projective property of conjugate gaussian points are found. This property is called by author a bipolar projective correspondence (BPC); specific off-axis points are called optical poles. Last ones provide the BPC property of gaussian points. Their existence is proved for any optical systems with curvilinear optic axis in case if the optic power of the system is not equal to zero and the deflection angle is not equal πn, where n = 0, 1,... It’s proved that optical poles are placed on the specific straight lines, called foctrices. These specific lines pass through optical foci being parallel to the opposite asymptotic arms of the optic system. Positions of optical poles are conjugated accordingly to well-known Newton’s optic equation.

MATHEMATICAL MODEL OF THE DEVICE FOR SURFACE CONTAMINATION CONTROL ON SUBSTRATE BY SPEED SPREADING OF THE DROP LIGUID

The problem under consideration includes a simulation of the spreading of liquid on the substrate surface. The possibility of determination the concentration of foreign atoms on the surface of the sample to change in the parameters of the light flux passing through the structure of the fluid substrate is shown. The basic equations describing the process of spreading of liquid droplets on the surface of the substrate, allowing determining numerical value of the concentration of atoms and molecules adsorbed by the surface of the sample, are described. The possibility of implementing rapid control of the purity of the substrate surface, using the measurement of the light flux at the photodetector, which is located on the focal axis of the dynamically changing lenses formed by spreading drop, is shown.

TO THE PROBLEM OF SCATTERING AMPLITUDE EVALUATION ON RADIALLY-SYMMETRIC ELASTIC INSERTS IN PERFECT FLUID

The problem of calculation of a leakage field on the homogeneous, radially-layered and continuously radially-non-uniform elastic ball is discussed. In each case the vector equation of elastic oscillations is solved by means of reducing the last to the independent scalar equations for scalar potentials. Due to insignificant practical suitability of such approach in case of the continuous radial heterogeneity of a ball it is offered to use its approximation by radial piecewise constant heterogeneity that will allow to solve rather simply the problem for the general character of radial heterogeneity of ball elastic parameters

SCATTERING AMPLITUDE OF THE ELASTIC BALL IN A VISCOUS ISOTROPIC FLUID

On the basis of linearization of the combined Navier—Stokes equations without consideration of thermal effects, SLE of the fourth order, allowing finally to calculate a scattering amplitude of homogeneous elastic ball in a viscous fluid in the linear approach with arbitrary accuracy (to multipoles of arbitrary order) was obtained. In turn this will allow to apply further the procedure of evaluation of radiation pressure through a scattering amplitude in the linear approach, developed earlier to perfect fluids, and in case of weakly viscous fluids. The described procedure for obtaining scattering amplitude in the linear approach is universal and does not depend on the level of fluid viscosity.

METHODS OF THE ESTIMATION OF SPECTRAL AND TEMPORARY PARAMETER SIGNAL ON THE BASIS OF THE THEORIES OF SPLINE ALGEBRAIC HARMONIC ANALYSIS

The developed methods and realizing them algorithms of the estimation of spectral and temporary parameter signal in base function of spline-character (BFSH) are suggested. The method for quick transformations of signal in these bases is described. Its high computing efficiency is proved. The advantage in calculation volume in passing from discrete exponential function to particular case BFSH — a base spline-Vilenkin-Krestenson functions — is shown. Methods for the estimation of signal carrying frequencies are considered using global splines. The algorithm of spline-BPF is offered in the base functions of spline-character. Efficiency of the methods for the estimation of signal carrying frequencies from the points of view of accuracy, velocities and noise-immunity of the processing is analyzed. The computing expresses on interpolation with the use of classical and proposed methods on the example of the particular case BFSH — SVKF are evaluated.
