MICROFLUIDIC CHIPS WITH INTEGRATED NANOSCALE STRUCTURES FOR BIOLOGICAL OBJECTS FIXATION

Hhydrodynamic trap to capture particles in a microfluidic chip with a network of parallel nanoscale channels and the U-trap with nanoscale channels were developed and studied. The simulation of liquid mass transfer process in the trap was performed. A nanoscale structures for traps was made by the method of focused ion beam. The prototype microfluidic chips with traps for high-resolution microscopy were obtained. Experimental studies on the movement of particles and liquid flows in channels of microchips confirm the adequacy of the proposed approach.

SPECIALIZED SPM PROBE BASED ON WIREFRAME NANOWHISKER STRUCTURES

By means of focused ion beam technique in the gas-precursor presence wireframe nanostructures (WFNS) consisted of conductive nanowhiskers were created and visualized at the top of W and Si tips. The minimal lateral size of growth nanowhisker was about 15 nm. The perspectives of WFNSs used as specialized SPM-probes for scanning magnetic microscopy and study of surfaces of bottom and vertical walls of deep micro- and nanochannels are discussed.

STRUCTURALLY ORGANIZED POLYMER NANOCOMPOSITES INCLUDING THE MULTI-LAYER CARBON NANOTUBES

For the purpose of getting the estimations of the average meanings for the polarization coefficients of the multi-layer carbon nanotubes (MWCNT) on the basis of the well-known coefficient meanings for the single-layered nanotubes are carried out. The conditions for getting of nanocomposites as the effective materials for the field emission of electrons are discussed. The experimental investigations of the characteristics of the field emission for the non-organized nanocomposite films, indicating to the possibility for getting of emission currents, at least, not less than the structurally organized arrays from carbon nanotube (CNT) are used.

SOLID BODY AND LIQUID SUPERFICIAL STRUCTURE STUDY BY ELLIPSOMETRY CONSIDERING MATHEMATICAL INVERSE PROBLEM INCORRECTNESS.
PART 3. ON THE DETERMINATION OF ALL THE PARAMETERS OF SEMICONDUCTORS WITH SUPERTHIN OXIDE FILMS ON THE BASIS OF THE REAL EXPERIMENT

The work is devoted to the further development of the method of progressive approximation in the solution of mathematically incorrect ellipsometry inverse problem for the semiconductors with superthin oxide films. The main task is development of the additional procedure providing the choice of the only solution. The procedure directing convergence process to optimum parameter values mostly approximate to their true values is discussed. This improvement of the method is made on the basis of the real experiment. For this purpose measurements made on the sample of gallium arsenide in several point of the sample were used. Important data concerning heterogeneity of such samples along their surface and associated with the character of sample treatment were obtained. Certification method of semiconductors surface due to certain signs which are not associated with the presence of the expressed damaged layer was questioned.

ON THE INSTRUMENT FUNCTION OF ELECTROSTATIC ELECTRON SPECTROMETERS

The article critically analyses a conception of electron spectrometers instrument function. By means of a dimensionless mathematical model built here a strict defined integral correlation between a source energy spectrum f(E) and a current J(U) registered by detector in dependence of a device working energy U is defined. It is proved that the instrument function always depends only on a ratio (E/U), but not a difference (E-U), and not an inverse ratio (U/E) as it is declared in some articles. The main integral equation built in the article is of Volterra equation of Ist type, but not one of Fredholm of Ist type. Some concrete structures of instrument function are calculated and presented in the article. Their common features are described and discussed.

TIME-DEPENDENT PSEUDOPOTENTIAL AND ITS APPLICATION FOR DESCRIPTION OF THE AVERAGED MOTION OF THE CHARGED PARTICLES.
PART 2. GENERAL EXPRESSION FOR TIME-DEPENDENT PSEUDOPOTENTIALS

The series of publications describes a new method to control the movement of the charged particles by high frequency electric fields. This new class of high frequency electric fields is characterized by pseudopotentials slowly evolving in time. The paper considers the deriving of the basic expression for slowly evolving pseudopotentials. It is shown that the classical pseudopotential is just the leading term of decomposition of the true pseudo-Hamiltonian in a double series: with respect to a small parameter which characterizes the amplitude of the electric field, and with respect to the frequency of the electric field. The classical pseudopotential expression is generalized to include the case of high frequency electric fields which are characterized by "fast" and a "slow" characteristic time scales simultaneously.

RADIATION PRESSURE IN THREE-DIMENYIONAL ACOUSTIC MEDIA, DESCRIBED BY ONE-DIMENTIONAL HELMHOLTZ EQUATION

Calculation of the average pressure caused by normally falling progressive plane wave at its dispersion on the laminated inclusion of the final thickness between two homogeneous liquid semispaces with different properties is discussed. Properties of dispersion matrix elements of the resulting one-dimensional problem in terms of reflection and refraction factors are presented. The physical significance of correlation between dispersion matrix elements is analyzed.

METHOD OF EFFICIENCY INCREASING FOR INDEPENDENT COMPONENTS AND CONVOLURION ANALYSIS PROCEDURES THAT ARE USED FOR SIGNAL FORM RECONSTRUCTION ON THE BASE OF MIXTURE MEASUREMENS

The conception is considered that generate unified view-point on different algorithms for signal separation (including de-convolution of multi-channel mixtures) on the base of signal mixture measurements. Estimating functions method is considered that give the possibility to explain the structure of different adaptive algorithms that realize de-separating matrix estimation and signal form reconstruction using only mixture measurements. The problem of signal mixture separation is formulated on the base of semi-parametric statistical model and estimating functions family. In terms of Li group formulation there is filter manifold considered.

RADIATION PRESSURE ON NONHOMOGENOUS INCLUSIONS IN THE FIELD OF PROGRESSIVE PLANE WAVE ON THE INFINITE STRING

The problem of the calculation of radiation pressure on nonhomogenous inclusions on the string in the field of progressive plane wave was studied. The pressure was shown to be expressed through energy densities on the margins of inclusion and equals half-difference of the average density of energy before the inclusion and average density of energy behind it. The obtained data were shown to be true at certain string shift smoothness and its two first derivatives. Like quant mechanics properties of elements of scattering matrix of the resulting one-dimension problem in the terms of reflection coefficients and refraction index at lateral force are given. Physical correlation between matrix elements was analyzed. The results may be of a vast applied significance.

OPTIMIZATION OF SIGMOID FUNCTION PARAMETERS IN REAL-TIME PCR SIGNALS MODELING

Advanced model of real-time PCR signals and methods of its realization on the sigmoid function base is discussed. Numerical experiment showed that the influence of the zero line drift on modeling results can be removed by choosing an appropriate level of threshold model. The criteria of model approximation to actual fluorescence signals growing during the reaction are proposed. Possibility of fully automatic computation of real-time PCR signals threshold cycles was shown.

FAST ALGORITHM OF MEDIAN FILTERING

Fast algorithm of median filtering using data median determination in filter window by means of local histogram analysis has been suggested. When moving from pixel to pixel in the process of image scanning correction of histogram requires small number of non-complex operations. The suggested algorithm increases considerably the median filtering process compared to the traditional algorithms. This enables median filtering application sphere extending.
