ION BEAM FORMATION IN THE MODERN SURFACE THERMO-IONIZED SOURCE OF MASS-SPECTROMETER MTI-350T FOR ISOTOPIC ANALYSIS OF U AND TRANSURANIUMS IN SOLID STATE

The paper concerns ion beam formation in the surface thermo-ionized source. To get high analytical features, it is necessary, on the one hand, to get the maximal utilization of sample ions originating on the surface of the ionizer ribbon; on the other hand, to form the ion beam fitting well the mass-analyzer acceptance. The through-out computer simulation from the place of ion origination down to the region of their registration, allows to provide the necessary matching.

SIMULATION OF THE OPERATIONAL MODE OF ION MOBILITY SPECTROMETER WITH BRADBURY—NIELSEN ION GATE

To increase the resolving power of ion mobility spectrometer with Bradbury—Nielsen gate the simulations were performed. It was shown that depending on the gate parameters there is an optimal gate duration corresponding to minimal duration of the ion pulse at the maximal amplitude of the ion signal. The gate duration being fixed there is the optimal difference of potentials between neighboring wires of the gate that ensures minimal duration of ion pulse with its amplitude close to the maximal one. Influence of wires displacement on ions penetration through formally closed gate was considered.

TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT OF OBJECTS WITH UNKNOWN EMISSIVITY USING A TECHNIQUE OF SPECTRAL PYROMETRY

A technique of temperature measurement based on the recording of a thermal emission spectrum of the object under study using CCD-spectrometer is discussed. Similarity of recorded spectrum and black-body spectrum is examined. If these spectra are similar, the temperature is determined as a parameter of the observed distribution, without recource to object’s emissivity. Emission spectra have been registered experimentally and temperatures have been determined for erosion plasma of microwave discharge on inhomogeneous solid surface and alundum tube heated in a plasma torch.

THE MINIMAX APPROACH TO THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MODEL CLASS SOFTWARE RELIABILITY BASED ON A COMBINATION OF GENERALIZED BAYESIAN INFERENCE, AND ELEMENTS OF LEARNING THEORY

The paper proposes a new approach to constructing models of software reliability, using a combination of generalized Bayesian inference, and elements of learning theory. To construct the models we consider a set of probability distributions, reflecting the lack of available statistical data, and on this set, search for the maximum of functional risk is done. The model parameters are computed by minimizing the obtained functional. This approach is quite general and allows to develop various models of reliability.

URGENT PROBLEMS OF GLOBAL MODERNIZATION OF RADIO-ELECTRONIC MEANS OF DETECTION

Among the previously discussed in Danilov V.N., Nesterov M.M. and Trifanov V.N. works devoted to fundamental restrictions on reception, distribution and emission of signals, practically the most strict restrictions concerned the detection of signals from diverse objects. In the present work the way to solve this problem of detection on the basis of a constructive approach connected with the alternative mathematical apparatus, based not on Gilbert manifold, and on Banach manifold functions in which mathematical and physical models for a mix signal+noise are constructed is formulated. The key moments of this approach are the usage of mathematical bending around the detected fluctuations, and secondary timebased averaging on an interval between two next points of minima of the analyzed fluctuations. The offered methods of the constructive detecting allow to receive a prize in a noise stability on the basis of Neumann—Pirson criterion not less than 6 dB without restrictions.

ON SIGNALS SPLINE-FILTRATION

A method of suboptimal dynamic system evaluation, based on the grounds of approximation of continuous function of several variables by a weighted sum of univariate functions, defined on a generalized basis, formed as a linear superposition of arguments of the assumed function, is proposed. The stated material is a foundation of the main theory of signal spline-filtering, suggested by Eu.Yu. Butyrsky.

ONE APPROACH TO SIGNALS AND SYSTEMS THEORY GENERALIZATION

A group-theoretical approach is developed for treating a broad field in signal theory from a single position. It includes signal structure detection, the possibility to represent signals and their linear combinations, signals classification by a character of transformations, which are the grounds to develop unified methods for solving corresponding signal processing problems. In terms of signals representation their time-and-frequency behavior is defined, correlation-and-spectral theory is generalized, classification is fulfilled. The proposed approach is a constructive one in developing communication systems and signal sensors, subjected to Doppler effect influence and other transformations.

DETERMINATION OF SIZES OF LOCAL IMAGE OBJECTS FOR THEIR IDENTIFICATION

A method of determination of sizes of local image objects small in comparison with full image size is considered. The first step is search of an object contour. The size of an image object can be found by Fourier transformation of contour signature. Experimental results of an automated determination of leukocyte size distribution on microscopic images are presented. The data show the possibility of identification of lymphocytes and granulocytes.

THE ANALYSIS OF THE WORKS DEVOTED TO EVALUATION OF RADIATION PRESSURE.
1. IDEAL FLUID AND A CASE OF THE SMALL UNDULAR SIZES OF THE INTERFACE

The work is devoted the review of literary data concerning calculation of the sound radiation pressure in ideal fluids and in case of the small undular sizes of an interface round the inclusion. Main works devoted to this problem were chosen and analyzed. Expressions for the radiation pressure, calculated on Relej and Lanzheven—Brilljuen are analyzed. It is shown, that at calculations with precision up to quantities of the second order of smallness these two methods give in identical result. It is shown, that in case of a viscous fluid it is impossible to choose arbitrarily integration boundaries in a computational method of radiation forces following Lanzheven—Brilljuen.
