COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF LANGMUIR—BLODGETT FILM SURFACE STRUCTURE OF POLYIMIDE PREPOLYMER AND POLYIMIDE BY ATOMIC FORCE MICROSCOPY AND CONFOCAL LASER SCANNING MICROSCOPY

Langmuir—Blodgett films of polyimide prepolymer (rigid-chain polyamic acid alkylamine salt) and respec-tive polyimide have been studied by the confocal laser scanning microscopy and atomic force microscopy. The film surface was analyzed at different scales of the surface area, from larger scanning areas to smaller. This al-lowed monitoring of variations in the surface structure morphology at different measurement scales and to char-acterize the film surface structural organization passing from micro- to nanolevel. Keywords: ðolyamic acid alkylamine salt (PAAS), polyimide films (polyimide), domain structure, Langmuir—Blodgett (LB) films, confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM), atomic force microscopy (AFM).

OBSERVATION BY A METHOD OF NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE OF STRUCTURIZATION IN MAGNETIC NANOPARTICLES DISPERSION

Dependence of NMR signal shift of protons with time beginning from the moment of putting dispersion in the magnetic field of a spectrometer was investigated. It was found out that the relation was exponential with two time constants, amounting to 3 and 30 minutes. Keywords: ìagnetic nanoglobules dispersion, structure formation, nuclear magnetic resonance

EXAMINATION BY A METHOD OF NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE OF INSIDE MAGNETIC FIELD CHANGE AT FORMATION OF UNITS IN MAGNETITE NANOPARTICLE DISPERSION

The method for measuring of the intensity of local and medial magnetic fields inside magnetic nanoparti-cles dispersion is suggested. It is shown, that at the change of the structure occurring in the dispersion under the influence of an outside magnetic field, both intensities intensify synchronously, and the difference be-tween them remains unchanged. Two hypotheses explaining this phenomenon are suggested. Keywords: nanoglobules magnetite dispersion, aggregates, nuclear magnetic resonance, inside magnetic fields.

ON THE NEW POTENTIALS OF ELLIPSOMETRY ARISING FROM THE NULL OPTICAL CIRCUIT. ELLIPSOMETRY OF REAL SURFACE STRUCTURES. 14. INTERZONED DISORDER OF POLARIZATION ANGLES AS METROLOGICAL CRITERION. INFLUENCE OF DIFFERENT FACTORS

The problem of a "null" ellipsometry connected with the straggling of polarization angles Δ and Ψ on measuring bands observed in the experiment is discussed. Such factors as errors in the assignment of parameters of a phase compensator and superficial anisotropy of samples were analyzed. Certainly these are not the only factors. The urgency of this problem is de-termined by the use of possibility of interzone straggling of Δ and Ψ angles as a new metrological criterion a "null" ellip-sometry. Taking into account superficial anisotropy factor requires more detailed consideration of the extended zone rela-tions of anisotropic media ellipsometry. This is also one of the problems of the present work. As to heterogeneity of the catopter caused also by the presence of the broken surface layer, its study by interzone disorder of polarization angles is another problem of great interest. It is a problem of surface metrology. Keywords: ellipsometry, polarization angles, measuring zones, interzoned disorder, metrological criterion, phase compensator, anisotropy

REDUCTION OF FLUCTUATIONS OF SELECTIVELY REFLECTED LIGHT

Some features of statistics of laser radiation, selectively reflected from the nonlinear border "dielectric—gas" are experimentally investigated. Photocurrent fluctuations below a level appropriate to detection of falling co-herent radiation was shown to decrease at adjustments to fluctuation minimum on quasilevels of intensity. Keywords: laser, selective reflection, squeezed light.

A DEVICE FOR FREQUENCY CHARACTERISTICS CONTROL OF MICROMECHANICAL GIROSCOPE

The paper considers design problem of a device for harmonic angular velocities simulation. Possible engi-neering solutions are analyzed. A scheme based on electromagnetic linear drives with transformation of linear oscillations to angular is proposed. Possible control schemes are analyzed. One of the operation modes is stud-ied and described using mathematical modeling. Accuracy of the model is estimated by comparison of simulated and experimental characteristics. Keywords: micromechanical gyroscope, test bench (stand), angular velocity, amplitude-frequency characteristic.

DIFFERENTIAL MICROCALORIMETER FOR RESEARCH OF METABOLIC PROCESSES IN LIVING STRUCTURES AND ITS APPLICATION IN PHYSIOLOGY OF PLANTS

A differential microcalorimeter is described, which is intended for studying the effect of the environmental conditions on the intensity of metabolic processes in biological structures and tissues. The instrument enables to obtain dependencies of the process intensity on temperature and chemical effects. Methods and results of the studies on the effect of temperature on respiration and growth rate for two species of barley (Hordeum distichum L.) and two species of lilac are described. Studies were carried out to investigate the effect of various concentra-tions of methylphosphoric acid on respiration intensity and growth rate in barley (Hordeum distichum L.) plant-lets. The results allow to make a comparative evaluation of early-maturing varieties, their resistance to the influ-ences of climatic and detrimental factors. Keywords: calorimeter, growth rate, heat production, Hardeum distichum L., Syringa josikaea Jacq., Syringa vulgaris L.

MODULATED MICROCALORIMETER KGM3100

The modulated differential scanning microcalorimeter KGM3100 has been developed in Russia. Tempera-ture modulation based on the sequences of short intervals of heat and isothermal intervals through the whole se-lected interval of temperatures has been utilized in this instrument. This method of modulation, spread in the world practice, provides clear and fast measurement results. The temperature difference along the radius of a gold calorimetric chamber of 10 mm in diameter does not exceed 4·10-3 at a heat rate of up to 2.5 K/min, and the temperature difference along the width of a sample is less than 0.1 K, and has no practical influence on the power heat measurement result. Measurements of thermal power of processes containing kinetic part and processes, not containing this part were carried out on the calorimeter. The KGM3100 provides a possibility to use samples of the enlarged mass for operation at low scanning speeds; this enlarges the measured heat power. This will allow to expand the field of researches due to the increase of the signal/noise ratio at measurements with the given calorimeter, which is its advantage over the existing analogues. Keywords: temperature-modulated differential scanning calorimeter (TMDSC); glass transition; differential scanning calo-rimeter (DSC); gold calorimetric chamber.

MODIFIED WAVELET-TRANSFORMATION. CONCEPTION AND APPLICATION

The conception of modification for wavelet transformation (WT) is given. The construction is based on anal-ogy with generalized form of Fourier transformation, on using the Radon transformation method and on flexible form of scaling for designed modified wavelet transformation (MWT). The MWT (and especially its mode with additional scaling) have superior performance over tradition WT. This relate to the problem of increasing infor-mational-significant component of signal by means of lowering the noise level, including the problem of two dimensional signal analysis, — reconstructing the image that is distorted by concomitant noise (by existence of so termed blur). Keywords: wavelet transformation, Radon transformation, modification, operators, local and extended forms, noise reduc-tion.
